A territory of itineraries

The Haut-Rhône is a territory of itineraries as well, with the Santiago de Compostela Path, the Paths of the Sun or even the ViaRhôna.

With the opening of the Anglefort and Virignin locks, the Haut-Rhône re-establishes a link with the fluvial navigation. Progressively, the pleasure sailors and their boats reclaimed these 100km of navigable ways.

You may also take the time to discover its history and visit its heritage. Let yourselves be tempted by the Clermont and Chaumont castles, the Seyssel town centres and the history of the inland water shipping, the Génissiat dam, the Haut-Rhône House and its different exhibitions.
